Living for Christmas: Spend Time Not Money November 18, 2009

I know for many people Christmas can be a very stressful time of the year.  Especially, given the weak economy over the past several years, Christmas can be economically challenging.

But, we need to remind ourselves of this.  Christmas is not about money, it’s about time with your loved ones.

And do you know what?  Often, the best Christmas gifts are the cheapest.  I found this gift called the digital photo keychain that costs like $12.  You can load this up with pictures of you and the “giftee” and make this the most memorable gift that they will receive.

People prefer gifts that you spend time on.  Thus, if you are economically challenged, spend time not money.  People will appreciate your gift even more.

In Christmas Thoughts, we read of the importance of getting everything for Christmas done early.  There could be nothing better said.  Christmas should not be stressful, it should be time well spent with family.

On that note, what will you do with your family?  My family and I love to play games.  We spend endless hours with each laughing until we’re crying over great–and inexpensive–games.  Games are one of the best Family Christmas Gift Ideas that you can think of.

My favorite is Trivial Pursuit Family addition, allowing the whole family to come together in joy.  I can’t wait.

I’m Living for Christmas right now!
